ArtHouse429 is pleased to announce an unusual and compelling exhibition of works that combines folk art, outsider art and street art March 15 – April 6th with an opening evening March 6th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.  The exhibition will explore the visual excitement and honesty of utilitarian and decorative art, which is characterized by a naïve style where traditional rules of proportion are not employed. The spirit of street art will come inside the gallery and is an umbrella term that defines forms of visual art created in public, usually unsanctioned and often controversial, making the work cutting-edge and outside the mainstream art world.
